KW Era 223rd Infantry Pile Cap

A WW2 Pile Cap with the scarce unofficial DI of the 223rd Infantry Regiment, 40th (California) National Guard Division. The 223rd was in Korea in 1952. The hat shows age to the alpaca but is in VG condition. No QM tag remains but it looks like a small size. The BEAUTIFUL 223rd DI is unmarked and probably theater-made. NICE set.
