COAST GUARD JEEP

Above photo is not a very good picture of a CG Jeep but this one was taken 1960-62 at the Coast Guard Station Cape Disappointment at the mouth of the Columbia River. The man standing beside it is ET2 Don Davis. The jeep was used for runs up to the tower and to town and for beach patrols when needed. There was one just like it at Pt. Adams station just across the river in Hammond, OR.
