Original USMC Registration markings

Registration number 65428 from '44 M-2-4 7100, driver's side. Note that the number 4 does not have the horizontal tab. These spray-painted markings are 2-3/4" tall, 1-1/4" wide and spaced 1-13/16 inch from the USMC prefix. The numbers are spaced 11/16 to 13/16 inch apart.
