A woman war worker welds the 'spout' of a jerry can at a factory, somewhere in Britain. She is working on one half of the can, the interior of wich can be clearly seen. The can is stamped with the year 1942, has the letters 'F&L' and has a 'W' and 'D' around the 'broad arrow' symbol, indicating government manufacture.
