BASTOGNE, BELGIUM—An army jeep moves down a cleared street in Bastogne after the besieged city was relieved from the pressure of German attack by men of Gen. Patton’s army. Debris is still heaped high on the sidewalks and the great number of the buildings has been shattered beyond repair by German bombs.
