Americans Cross Frontier into Lorraine
Lorraine -- Yank soldiers have lifted the border-barriers from France into Lorraine and an American half-track moves across into the province. Until 1918 Lorraine was a part of France. It was then seized by the Germans in World War I. In 1940 Hitler’s forces marched into the French province and reestablished the frontier barriers between France and Lorraine.
