Supplies for Russia Sent Via Persian Gulf
SOMEWHERE IN IRAN—Allied war supplies are pouring into Russia in ever increasing quantities, via Bandar Shahpor and the Trans-Iranian Railway. Transported across salt marsh and desert to Ahwaz, road and rail convoys there join the flow of supplies proceeding up river from Kharramshah and Bushire, all thence continuing northwards to the U.S.S.R. Here, a long truck convoy carrying supplies for Russia, crosses a stream “somewhere in Iran.” Passed by censors.
